Scheduling settings

Set your minimum notice and buffers — the quiet rules that apply across everything you offer.

Settings is where you set your minimum notice and buffers — the quiet rules that protect your day. They apply across every session type you offer. Open Scheduling → Settings.

Minimum notice

How far ahead someone has to book. Slots inside this window won't show on your booking page — so no last-minute pings if you'd rather not. Options run from None up to 2 days; the default is 2 hours.

This governs what people can book from your booking page. It doesn't limit times you're offered or times you offer — when a partner proposes you a time directly, or you offer them one, the slot shows even if it falls inside your notice window.

Buffer before

Quiet time kept clear before each session — useful prep room so the next booking can't land back-to-back. Options from None up to 30 minutes; the default is None.

Buffer after

Quiet time kept clear after each session — for notes, a breather, or just not running into the next one. Same options; the default is None.

How buffers work in practice

A buffer reserves quiet time around your sessions, so two bookings can never sit flush against each other. The gap Robin keeps between two adjacent sessions is the buffer after the first plus the buffer before the next — set whichever side fits how you work.

Unlike minimum notice, buffers apply everywhere: a time you're offered, or one you offer a partner, respects them the same way a booking does. They describe your calendar, not who's allowed to fill it.

The rest of the scheduling picture

  • Availability — the weekly hours these rules sit on top of.
  • Holidays — block specific dates without touching your weekly hours.
  • Session types — the kinds of session you offer, and how long each runs.
