Offering someone a time

You do not have to wait for a partner to book you. You can offer them a specific time instead. Pick one of your session types, choose a slot, and they confirm with one tap. The session runs on your session type, so you are the host. See who hosts a session for what that means.

Your own minimum notice does not limit what you can offer. It holds back what strangers can book from your page, not what you choose to put in front of a partner. Your buffers still apply, on both sides. Robin does not offer a time that neither of you has quiet room for.

Seeing whether it suits them

Each time in the list carries a mark for both of you:

• You ✓ / them ✓. The time suits you both.
• You ✓ / them ✗. You are free, and they are not marked free then.

A ✗ does not stop you offering the time. It is a heads-up, not a block. They may well accept, and they can always decline. You never see what a partner is doing, only whether they are free.

Also show their times

The list shows times from your own availability by default. Turn on Also show {their name}'s times to add times they are free but you are not. This helps when your own week is blocked out and you would still like to fit something in. Those times show as You ✗ / them ✓, and you can offer them the same way.

Suggesting a custom time

If nothing in the list works, use None of these? Suggest a custom time to type any date and time. You see the same two marks for the time you pick, and you can still send it either way.

What they see

Your offer arrives as a message in your chat with them, and by email. They accept or decline with one tap. Robin holds the time on both calendars until they respond, so nothing else can take it.

Honest limits

• You see their free and busy state, never their diary. You see that a time is free or not free for them. You never see who they are with, or what the entry is.
• A held time can still clash. If something lands on either calendar between your offer and their reply, Robin tells you rather than double-books.
