Choosing your notifications
Turn notifications off by email or in the app, one at a time or a whole group together.
To choose your notifications, open Account → Notifications. Notifications are in groups, such as Session reminders, Messages and Communities. Each one has an Email switch, an In-app switch, or both. For example, if your own calendar already reminds you, you can turn the reminder emails off and keep the reminders in the app.
How the switches work
To change one notification, use the switches on its row. To change a whole group, use the switches on the group's row. When some notifications in a group are on and some are off, the group's row tells you. A change applies to the next notification. It changes only what you get, not what other coaches get.
Session reminders
Robin reminds you before a session you have booked. There are up to three reminders:
- 3 days before
- The day before
- An hour before
If you book at short notice, you get only the reminders that are still ahead.
The hour-before reminder also appears in your chat with your partner. That message is part of the chat, so the switches do not change it.
The groups
- Session reminders. Before a session you have booked.
- Bookings and offers. New bookings, offers of a time, confirmations and cancellations.
- Messages. New messages by email, and mentions and reactions in the app.
- Contact requests and invitations. A coach getting in touch, your request being accepted, and group invitations.
- After a session. Your session recap, transcripts, recordings, shared files and logbook entries.
- Communities. New posts, comments, replies and likes in the communities you are in, and being made an admin.
- From Robin. Important announcements. These are always on.
Emails that always arrive
Some emails always arrive, because they are about your account or your calendar. These include a booking confirmation with its calendar invite, the email when a session is cancelled, the receipt when you book or offer a session, payment receipts, and anything about a report you made.
Replying to an email
Emails about a message or a booking end with the line "Reply to this email to message …". When you reply to one of those, Robin sends your reply to that coach as a message. It appears in your chat with them. Send your reply from the email address you use for Robin, because a reply from another address does not arrive. If Robin gets your reply but can't deliver it, Robin emails you back with what you wrote.
