Booking a call with a coach

Book a practice partner from their profile or booking link — pick a session, pick a time, and it’s confirmed straight away.

Booking a coach on Robin is direct: you pick one of their session types and a time that works, and the call is confirmed straight away. No back-and-forth, no waiting for them to accept.

Where booking starts

There are three ways in, and they all land on the same place:

  • From a coach's profile — open their profile and tap Book. (Browse coaches under Coaches → Browse.)
  • From your conversation — in a chat with a partner, open the call menu (the video button at the top) and tap Schedule a call.
  • From their booking link — coaches can share a link like practicewithrobin.com/book/their-name. Opening it takes you straight to their session menu.

Picking a session and a time

  1. Choose a session type. You'll see what each coach offers — a quick intro chat, a full practice session, whatever they've set up — each with a short description of what it's for.
  2. Choose a length, if that coach offers more than one.
  3. Pick a time. Times are shown in your timezone, and only slots that genuinely work are offered — Robin accounts for the coach's hours, their holidays, their buffers, and anything already booked.
  4. Add a note (optional) — a line on what you'd like to focus on, or anything helpful for them to know.
  5. Tap Book this session.

That's it. You'll see "You're booked in", and Robin emails you both a confirmation with a calendar invite. The session also appears under Sessions → Upcoming for both of you.

Before the call

  • A calendar invite lands in both inboxes with the confirmation, so the session drops into your calendar.
  • A reminder goes out before the session starts — email and in-app — so neither of you needs to keep an eye on the clock.

When it's time, join from your Sessions page.

Changing or cancelling

Plans change. Open Sessions → Upcoming, find the session, and tap Cancel. You'll add a brief reason — the other coach is emailed with it, and the session drops out of their calendar too.

There's no separate reschedule — to move a time, cancel the session and book a new one.
