Not Another Thing Being Sold to Coaches

After qualifying, most of what reaches a new coach is about growing the business. Robin is for the other thing: getting better at the work. Free, on purpose.

Qualify as a coach and something strange happens to your inbox.

Having just paid thousands for a serious qualification, you're suddenly offered a lot more to buy: courses on scaling, systems for finding clients, groups for growing a practice. Much of it is made with care, by people who've been where you are. And nearly all of it is about the business of coaching.

Nothing wrong with that - coaches need to make a living. But talking to coaches while building Robin, I kept hearing about a different need, one that almost nothing out there serves. The craft itself - the listening, the questions, the presence, the thing you actually fell in love with - doesn't stop needing work the day you're certified. If anything, that's the day the real work starts.

Most coaches I talk to don't feel finished after qualifying. They feel like they've just started. What they want isn't a funnel, it's more time doing the work with real people, and honest feedback about how they're doing. And that - the unglamorous middle bit between certificate and mastery - is the part nobody was serving.

What Robin is instead

Robin is a practice-partner platform. Coaches from different programmes and countries find each other, message, schedule, and run practice sessions - reciprocally, so you coach and get coached. There's a logbook for your hours and a community of people doing the same thing. It's free.

It's not training (your programme did that), and it's not a business-building system (that's a different job, and not ours). It's the place you do the reps. The gym.

A few deliberate choices follow from that:

  • Free means free. Finding partners, messaging, scheduling, calls, the logbook - that's the product, and it stays free. I've written about why that's permanent.
  • Nobody can sell to you here. Robin's community is for practice, not prospecting. You will not join a practice session and find yourself in a pitch.
  • It's built for depth, not volume. Robin measures nothing about your income and pushes you toward no scale. It's for getting better at the work, for your whole career - not for building the business of it.

The honest trade-off

Because I'm asking you to trust a free product, you deserve the commercial logic too: someday Robin will offer optional paid extras on top, for coaches who want them. That's the business. What it will never do is gate the practice itself, because a practice community only works when every coach can be in it.

If you've qualified and what you actually want is to get better - not bigger, better - you're exactly who Robin is for.

Join free. Do the reps.
